International Women’s Day celebrated in S. S. P. Shikshan Sanstha’s Siddhi College of Pharmacy, on 7th March 2024. This particular day is marked to honor all the women and their achievements regardless of the divisions, whether national, ethnic, linguistic, cultural, economic or political. Many eminent dignitaries were present at the International Women’s Day celebration, including the all-management members. The program started at 11:00 a.m. The program was inaugurated by lighting the lamp at the hands of guests. All guests were felicitated by Principal Dr. P. N. Sable sir.
First session was guided by Mr. Pritam Ichake Sir and Mr. Sachin shirke Sir, Black belt international Medalist Player. They guided our girl students with various Self Defense tricks and how to handle situation.
In second session Hon. Mr. Bhaskar Dhere Sir, ACP Pimpri Chinchwad and Hon. Mr. Sandip Jamadade Sir, API Talawade guided our students about Cyber Security and Laws in that they explained different modes of cyber-crimes, virus attacks, social networking security, password protection, financial frauds and its legal scenario with relevant case laws. He demonstrated the security related to the field in online transactions, and financial transactions, how smart components are connected in smart cities how to prevent the data when smart components are connected to the network.
We also have Mr. Sharad Buva Sir, Police Constable Pimpari Chinchwad has shared his opinion and said that achieving gender equality and empowering all women and girls is very important that ensures inclusive and quality education for all as also to promote lifelong learning.
Also Police Constable Mrs. Surekha Deshmukh Mam guided to our students and highlighted the significance of the day. She described the plight of women at present through an elaborated speech. She addressed the students with her inspiring speech and stressed upon how women can be self-dependent with courage and effort.
Hon. S. B. Patil Sir, Chairman S.S.P.S.S, Mrs. Snehal Patil Mam, Member of trustee S.S.P.S.S, Dr. P N Sable Sir, Principal Sidhhi College of Pharmacy, Mrs. Rajashree Nikam, Extracurricular Incharge Siddhi COP was present for the program.
