Hospital Visit

A visit to Lokmanya Hospital, Nigdi was arranged on 4th September 2019 for the students of D. Pharmacy from Siddhi College of Pharmacy Chikhali. A batch of 60 Students along with faculty members has visited to lokmanya hospital. All students visited to the different departments like Pathological Laboratory, Pharmacy. A detailed explanation regarding each department was given during visit. Each machinery in the laboratory was thoroughly explained by Dr.Anita and gave us a demonstration. Such as Flow Cytometer (used for automated cell counting as in total blood count, differential count), etc. Urinometer (estimation of specific gravity of urine) & centrifuge etc. Dr. Anita kurikaose also answered queries of students. This informative session ended with vote of thanks by faculty members to Dr. Anita kurikaose for giving permission for the visit and for giving permission for the visit and for informative sessions. The visit gave students a lot of knowledge which will help them in their studies. Students came to know about the actual work of Pharmacist. At the end of program was concluded with vote of thanks by faculty.
