REPUBLIC DAY

Siddhi College of Pharmacy witnessed the celebration of the 71th Republic Day on the 26th January, 2020. Students, Staff and Faculty members filled with a feeling of patriotism and dedication gathered in front of the building. The celebration started with the hoisting of the National Flag by the Treasure, Mr. Ganesh Satish Patil. In his speech, the Treasure highlighted the importance of the Constitution and its unique features such as Sovereign, Socialist, Secular, Democratic and Republic enshrined in the preamble of the constitution. He also gave an insight on the various accomplishments achieved by college and motivated the crowd for bringing more laurels for the college through their accomplishments. The speech was followed by the National Anthem, various other representations of the classical art forms in the different dances and songs performed by the students, giving a glimpse of the diversity in unity of the nation and the Guard of Honour. The program ended with the message to create a great nation through collective efforts from all individual. Sweets were distributed among all the guests.
