Siddhi College of Pharmacy, celebrated its Annual Social Gathering- ELIXIR 2024 on the 12th of February 2024 at Aacharya Atre Rang mandir, Pimpri, Pune. Many eminent dignitaries were present at the ELIXIR 2024 celebration, including the all-management members. The program started at 12:15 p.m. The program was inaugurated by lighting the lamp at the hands of Chief guest Mr. Kaustubh Ghule Sir Manager, Market Access & Pricing, Sandus, Mr. Sandeep Jadhav Sir पश्चिम महाराष्ट्र प्रांत राष्ट्रीय स्वयंसेवक संघ, Western Regional Head, Kalyan Janta Sahakari Bank, Pune. Simultaneously, Guest of honour the Mr. S. B. Patil Sir (Chairman S. S. P. Shikshan Sanstha), Mr. Ganesh Patil Sir, Mr. Akash Patil Sir, Mr. Mangesh Patil Sir (Treasurer, S. S. P. Shikshan Sanstha), Dr. P. N. Sable Sir (Principal, Siddhi College of Pharmacy), Mr. Vishwanath Patil Sir (Chairman S. S. P. Shikshan Sanstha ), Mr. Chandrashekhar Patil (Secretary, S. S. P. Shikshan Sanstha), Mrs. Pooja Patil Mam, Mrs. Snehal Patil Mam (Trustee, S. S. P. Shikshan Sanstha),Mr. Prakash Gaikwad Sir (Senior Administrative Officer), Mr. Sunil Shevale (Associate Director, SSPGOI) of our college lit the lamp. All guest were felicitated by Principal Dr. P. N. Sable sir. Mrs. Shilpa Gaikwad, Principal GIS, Chikhli, Mrs. Bharati Gadag, Principal GIS Playschool, Chikhli, Mrs. Siona Tribhuvan, Principal GEMS, Dapodi, Mr. Satish Shelake Sir, grace the event by their presence in evening. First of all, the host requested the chief guest to express his thoughts regarding the event and students presented a welcome program by welcoming the chief guest and the students.
Elixir is one-day festivals of the college that includes various events wherein students are given chance to think, step forward and showcase their talent. These events have their own colour and are very unique in their own way. These include Drama, dance and singing. To inculcate teamwork in students, interclass competitions are organized.
The cultural show began with Ganesh Vandana. In the first half of the program, the students from all classes entertained everyone with their beautiful dance and drama and fashion show performances. Students from all classes participated in this program. In second half of program, singing performance of students of our college made everyone shake a leg! The choir group mesmerized the audience and the dignitaries with beautiful melodic songs.
The annual function was a well-organized event. However, there are a few things that could be improved. The cultural program could have been longer. Overall, the annual function was a great success. It was a day of celebration and joy for everyone involved.
The Programme ended with vote of thanks and National Anthem.
The day’s events came to an end with the group photos with students.
