TEACHER’S DAY CELEBRATION

Teacher’s Day is celebrated on 5th September every year on the occasion of the birth anniversary of India’s second President, Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan; Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan was of the opinion that “teachers should be the best minds in the country”. On every September 5th , Teacher’s Day is celebrated all over India as an occasion to appreciate and acknowledge the efforts and hard work of our teachers in making us sophisticated and responsible individuals. In the morning session, students dressed up as teachers and also assume their role by taking classes for First year, afternoon session started with the motivational speech given by Principal Dr. P.N.Sable, on importance of student teacher relationship and positive learning environment for the students. Then students performed special cultural program for their teachers to make them happy and feel special in every way possible which include felicitation of teachers. Program was concluded by vote of thanks by first year students. National anthem followed by Refreshment. This program was coordinated by Ms, Megha Hange and Ms. Pooja Newale (Cultural Coordinators).
